A brow lamination sets the brow hairs in a smoother direction, so the shape stays put when you wake up. At Resh Beauty in Wood Green, the appointment includes a tint, and most clients find the result lasts about six weeks.
For the first 24 hours, keep the brows dry. Skip the gym, saunas, and anything that leaves the brow bone damp. After that, a small amount of castor oil or a clear brow gel in the evening is enough. Brush the hairs upward while they are still a little soft from the warmth of your fingertips.
Sleeping on your face is the usual reason a lamination looks uneven by week three. A silk pillowcase helps, and so does brushing the brows back into place in the morning before makeup. Retinol and strong acids around the brow bone will shorten the result, so keep those products below the brow.
When the hairs start to fall back to their old direction, that is the time to book the next visit rather than adding more product. We are at 342 High Road, Wood Green, Monday to Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00, and Sunday 13:00–17:00.
